"Special Stage" is possibly my personal favorite track on the album. It is by far the most heavily inspired and modeled after a specific Sonic stage. That being the Sonic 3 Special Stage. I tried as much as I could, with the instruments, part writing, energy and groove, to recapture some of the spirit that made that track so memorable and fun.
